Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival in Chennai – Cultural Capital Welcome

Upon arrival at Chennai Airport, you’ll be warmly greeted and transferred to your hotel. Begin your journey with an exploration of Marina Beach, one of India’s longest coastlines. Visit the Kapaleeshwarar Temple, a fine example of Dravidian architecture, and the San Thome Basilica, built over the tomb of St. Thomas. Optional visits include the Government Museum and Fort St. George. Overnight stay in Chennai.

Day 2
Chennai – Mahabalipuram (Approx. 60 km / 1.5 hrs)

After breakfast, proceed to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Mahabalipuram. Explore the iconic Shore Temple, the intricately carved Pancha Rathas, Arjuna’s Penance, and Krishna’s Butterball. Visit local sculpture studios where artisans keep centuries-old stone carving traditions alive. Enjoy the coastal atmosphere and sunset by the sea. Overnight stay in Mahabalipuram.

Day 3
Mahabalipuram – Pondicherry (Approx. 100 km / 2.5 hrs)

Drive to Pondicherry, the former French colony on the Bay of Bengal. Check into your hotel and spend your afternoon strolling through White Town, dotted with colonial villas, churches, and cafés. Visit Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Manakula Vinayagar Temple, and walk along the Promenade Beach. Enjoy French-Tamil cuisine at a heritage café. Overnight in Pondicherry.

Day 4
Pondicherry – Chidambaram – Kumbakonam (Approx. 150 km / 4.5 hrs)

After breakfast, head toward Chidambaram, home to the Nataraja Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva as the Cosmic Dancer. Explore the temple's famed Chidambara Rahasyam (spiritual secret). Day 5

Day 7
Madurai – Temples and Traditions

Spend the day in Madurai’s spiritual and cultural wealth. Visit the iconic Meenakshi Amman Temple, known for its towering gopurams and sacred pond. Also see Thirumalai Nayak Palace, an Indo-Saracenic architectural gem, and Gandhi Museum. In the evening, return to the temple for the Palliyarai ceremony (night ritual). Overnight in Madurai.

Day 8
Madurai – Rameswaram (Approx. 170 km / 4 hrs)

Drive to Rameswaram, a pilgrimage town on Pamban Island. Visit the Ramanathaswamy Temple, with India’s longest corridor and 22 holy wells for ritual bathing. Day 9
Rameswaram – Kanyakumari (Approx. 310 km / 7 hrs)

Set out early for Kanyakumari, the southernmost point of mainland India. After check-in, visit Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Thiruvalluvar Statue, and Kanyakumari Amman Temple. Enjoy the sunset at the confluence of the Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal, and Indian Ocean — a rare natural phenomenon. Overnight in Kanyakumari.

Day 10
Kanyakumari – Trivandrum Departure (Approx. 100 km / 3 hrs)

After breakfast, you may visit Suchindram Temple (optional) and then drive to Trivandrum for your departure. You’ll be dropped at Trivandrum Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey, carrying memories of temples, coastlines, and South India's regal and spiritual grandeur.
